A friend of mine recently died and I am helping his family set the value of his guns.

I know little about nice air rifles.
He had two pretty nice ones.
Both in .177 Cal
Both in near mint condition

#1- Beeman R-1 Nice full size wood stock appears to be walnut

#2 Feinwerkbau Sport 124 Full size stock appears to be dark finished hardwood (ash or beech)

Just wondering what reasonable asking price is for these when sold as used.
thanks

Two nice guns, I don't know what they'd be in the US.
But someone round here should know, mabey even want them for thier own colection.
If that's an old R1 / HW 80? it's MUCH better than a new one.

Excellent hunting air rifles there. Have never owned an R-1, but have owned several FW-124s. The price for a used FW-124 should be no less than $125.00, with a top end of about $400.00 for an example in 95% condition. As with most air rifles, much is based upon the condition of the seals, as replacement costs can be quite high. I have a FW 150 undergoing seal repair right now, and I am dreading the final cost.

Oooooopps, Ireland, I forgot to add what is probably The Most Important thing, finding a qualified buyer. Used air rifles are very difficult to sell unless you can find the correct market. In my recent experience (last 3 years), it has been impossible to sell an air rifle at anywhere near the cataloged or Blue Book Prices. Best of luck!!!

I doubt these rifles were ever fired more than 50 to 100 times each.
