I'm getting an air arms s410 xtra, just curious if anybody has one what sort of range its capable of.

Also somebody told me he had one and it was loud that he had to put a supressor on, but the dealer says it wont be

anybody have one of these ?

Air Arms are Great Guns, tho the Hi power version is a bit long and unwieldy for my taste.
I prefer a shorter gun and put up with less shots per charge.

Without a silencer any high power PCP is seriously LOUD.
You could kill small game out to 60 or so yards, in good conditions. You got to remember it's still a pellet gun, so claims of clean kills out to 130 yards, are possible but not advised.
Hunting is not abought how far you can shoot.
Its all abought how close you can get.

I usually set .22 PCPs to shoot 18 to 20 FPE then they are not too pellet fussy.
