While cleaning my shotgun, it shrunk from a 12 gauge to a 16.

Did I use too much hot water in the wash cycle ?

Or you reckon it happened in the rinse cycle or maybe even the dryer ?

More than likely the barrel was made from Chinese steel that was not pre shrunk at the factory.

Many Scatter Gun barrels are made from old recycled Studerbaker bumpers, this may have been an excelerating factor.

I know, I know, my spelling sucks!!!
