While cleaning my gun...
.

While cleaning my shotgun, it shrunk from a 12 gauge to a 16.

Did I use too much hot water in the wash cycle ?

Or you reckon it happened in the rinse cycle or maybe even the dryer ?

More than likely the barrel was made from Chinese steel that was not pre shrunk at the factory.

Some people just don't get it. You are NEVER, NEVER, EVER suppossed to put a shotgun in the dryer.

Many Scatter Gun barrels are made from old recycled Studerbaker bumpers, this may have been an excelerating factor.
