I got this today from my wife, out of a spin 0ff yarn spinner's magazine dated 1991,i dont know if this has been posted before or not....
The following mixture was devised by the Marines to lubricate and preserve firearms for long periods of time without becoming sticky..a little goes a long way...
combine 3 oz. of STP oil treatment
1 oz. of Hoppe's#9
8 oz.Quaker State 10/40 motor oil
and enough hydraulic fluid/"NOT BRAKE FLUID"/to make a quart

Save yourself some Drama...

Just get some BreakFree...

IF, I could have only ONE "Juice" for my guns, it would be BreakFree.

N E 450 No.2 is right, save yourself a lot of time and effort. I use BreakFree most of the time. Barring that, buy a quart of 5w synthetic motor oil and you will have enough for a lifetime.
