Thanks! I didn't know TC's came in the bigger calibers. Good scope! I gave one to my son as that is what he wanted so tell your sponsors their advertising is working with the younger crowd Smiler

Appreciate it Jorge. It is a darn nice scope for sure. The TC does not come in big guns these days, I had one rebar rebarreled to .416. The setup shoots an easy 1" group at 100 yards and has really proven itself on this trip.

yes- we have seen eles a few times and had them in camp 2 nights (last night). There is an anti-poaching plane and crew in the area now, but I think a bunch of organized guys are coming over from Tanzania, and it is tough. The big problem is the law really doesn't do much if they are caught. They go to jail for a few days to a week and then they give them their guns back!

Hah.. That was almost identical to what I was told in Lukwika last year... The poachers are all coming across from Mozambique and the government lets them go...

With all the Chinese "contractors" around, I expect its both sides of the border. So much for strict gun control...

We caught a flight out of camp yesterday afternoon and are spending our last day at Pemba Beach Lodge. We got word last night that my client Larry Neugebauer killed a nice leopard with Johnnie Johnson yesterday afternoon. I will post photos hopefully tonight when they send over from camp. Jon Soderholm is hunting leopard with Paul with a bow, and we heard this morning that they have 4 males on bait. This will be interesting.

Just as we were about to eat lunch today, a local fisherman walks up off the beach with this 50+ lb wahoo to sell us. I think we are going to be having some seriously fresh sushi & steaks tonight. Sarah the manager here paid $86 for the whole fish...I can't wait!

I start the trip home tomorrow after lunch and arrive back in KY on Tuesday morning. I have had a wonderful adventure over the past month, but I must admit that I am ready to be in my own home with my much missed family.

Just enjoyed a seviche and wahoo filet dinner with friends last night, fresh in from Cabo. Wow, I had forgotten just how good that is! Travel safe and can't wait to hear (and see) all about your Moz trip.
