Enclosed is a beautiful mount of a Kafue Lechwe taken by Jorge400.

A great piece of taxidermy puts a full stop on a great safari.

Beauty! That picture is so nice as well you should frame it and hang it with the lechwe.

Andrew, thanks for the kind words and for posting the picture. It's without a doubt one of my favorite trophies. Brad, the mount brings back fond memories every time I glance up at it. No doubt we had a great adventure on the flats. I too want to see your beast when it's ready.

George

Impossible. I was stone cold sober in that picture. The last time you saw me in person I was drinking scotch, which I know for a certainty makes me good looking, sophisticated and quite funny funny to boot. Wink

Here is a picture from another angle. With the wide spread and the deep curves seen in the picture Andrew posted, this lechwe had everything I was looking for.

In that first picture the tips of the horns appear to be split or forked. Is that how usual?

They are not split. That is actually a shadow I guess cast by the flash.
