Wow what a pig! We jumped and tracked a bushpig in Chirisa but did not get a shot. He was a real runt compared to yours.

Thanks for the report Brad. Obviously I can see every spot in my mind as you describe them. I saw one very red Bushpig when we first got into the Sitatunga blind but it was booking at about 100 MPH and I was the only one that saw it. I envy you the one you got. I would certainly full body mount it and add it to the "Grand Slam of Ham"

Hunting with Andrew is fun as you know. Judging from your lack of smile I suppose you are camera shy so I doubt you made any videos eh? Big Grin

Funny thing Brad, if you look at the trophy pics in my hunt report with Andrew I think I actually smiled in one of them. Never thought about it or realized it until after it was all said and done. I'm not camera shy by any means as the goofy videos we made show.

Joyce on the other hand was made for the camera. It always seems to like her.

So knowing how much attention to detail Mr. Baldry shows "The Madem" would like to know did he lower the mirror in the chalet and move the toilet roll location? Big Grin

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.
