Just back from 30 days of hunting in BF. I will let the photos tell the story. The hunting was a bit tough due to the lack of water, but we still managed to take some really nice trophies.

Red buffalo I shot with the 416 remington

A nice harnessed bushbuck. They picked up one this year that went 14.5"

A warthog I shot at about 200 yards with the whelen. I really have come to love the 35 Whelen. With 225 grain Swift A Frames, everything went down with one shot!

Buff I shot with 416 rem mag

Western Hartebeest I shot with the whelen as well.

They are a real neat animal

A very old roan shot by a client, it was blind in the right eye, left horn broken and the right horn was 30"! What a super trophy

I doubt he would have lived another season

A super buff taken by a client at last light

A Kob shot for the chief

Even the eles found it hot

One of the largest roan I have shot in body and horn size. It went about 30 yards with the 35 Whelen, shot was about 170 yards

Nagor reedbuck

He had escaped a leopard by the looks of it.

Lots of elephants, sadly all the bulls have been poached, all within a period of 5 years!!!

Dinner - 3 in one shot, with a local made shotgun!

Recovering the tusks from a hippo that was poached for meat!!

Small group of hartebeest

The warthog in Burkina are not huge as they wear their tusks in the hard ground! This is as good as it gets.

Some francolin for the table

With a client's roan

All in all we had another good season in BF. We still have a few prime dates for 2018-2019 season.

We have taken more American clients to BF than all other outfits combined.

Thanks for your time.

The good news is that you see a lot of young eles, babies etc. so hopefully they will be the next generation but all the bulls and big females have been poached. VERY SAD.

Good stuff Arjun!

Superb Western Roan and some great bushbuck. That last buff is a serious dagga boy.

Well done.

Congrats on some very nice trophies Arjun. Hopefully some serious anti-poaching will be forthcoming in the future.
