gbax: Yes, I saw a lot of dik dik every day. tu2 It was just a matter of finding the right one and making the shot. John is very careful in managing the dik dik on Westfalen and on the surrounding free range areas. I believe that he only shoots 3-5 a year. He and the other adjacent property owners are very conservation minded with all of the game animals. I would highly recommend hunting with John in order to get your dik dik and Hartmann's Mountain Zebra, if you want to take one of them. That hunt, however, is TOUGH, but worth it! Hope that this helps in answering your question. Big Grin

I'm going to Namibia soon and I have a Damara dik-dik on my hunting list. If I get him I will do him in full mount.

Hunted with John in 2010! My wife and daughter went too. John got my then 17 year old daughter a fantastic mountain zebra, He was great with her. We took 9 animals and both of our springbok were right at 16 inches. We will return !
Thanks so much for the trip down memory lane.
Your trip looked truly excellent !
