Well done Mike and Buzzer, early season hunts are normally tougher but more rewarding in many ways..

Mike,

In October you will get exactly the opposite of what you experienced!

As they say, been there, done that. I hunted there in October 2013. Have also hunted there in November and December. Time to revert back to the more temperate months!

I would like to know that as well. My local taxidermist referred me to the McKenzie Taxidermy Supply website.

I certainly agree with the Comme ts about USFW. I appreciate your love of the hunt and the nobility of hunting elephant to further conservation of the species. As to USFS, (fish and feathers) f---em

Congrats Mike. Very nice bull well hunted though I think I would prefer a hunt later in the year myself. The humid, sticky weather is vaguely familiar...

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...

And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Congratulations on a tremendous hunt & trophy. What a fine outfit those guys have, too!
Nick & I are still stunned in the best way from our early season hunt there two years ago. Fun!

That was great Mike. Thank you for putting that up.

While your picture's are all very nice, I really liked the picture with the 505 Gibbs.

But going through the high grass - I hope you had waist high snake leggings lol. I know what that bone axe was for now. Yikes.
