Tell me about your experience. I am looking closely at this outfitter for a Namibia plains game hunt. I figure if anybody was going to give it to me straight it would be the AR forum members. Please share your experiences on this thread, or PM me if you would prefer.
Thanks for your help guys!

Contact Wendell Reich, he's Vaughan's agent here. I'm sure he can give you a long list of happy clients. There are many informative reports posted in the hunts forum. Met him in Dallas while visiting Wendell. Nice guy from the git-go.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

I hunted elephant with Vaughan's outfit last year. Vaughan was not my PH but he was in camp with another hunter. I would hunt with him in a heart beat. He is a very nice guy and there were no BS charges at the end of the safari. The food, equipment, and staff are all top notch. I am flying back to Africa in a couple of days but I will try to answer any question if you PM me. If you are not in a hurry i will be back Oct. 6th and can answer questions then. Jim

I have known Vaughan since 1995 and have hunted with him several times. He is honest, hard working and a great guy to share a campfire with.

If you have any questions I will be glad to try and answer them.

I hunted with Vaughn in 2003 and would recommend him without hesitation. Outstanding PH and an all-around good guy. We hunted from a tented camp and everything was top notch.

They don't come better than Vaughn. If he tells you its raining dogs and cats outside take a leash.

Hunted with him twice.

I love hunting with Vaughan, and I will make it happen again before too long.

If he will agree, of course. Big Grin

I hunted out of Vaughan's camp, with another PH, and had the time of my life. Vaughan and all of his staff were outstanding. If I make it back to Africa I would hunt with his outfit again without hesitation.

I would hunt with him again in a heartbeat, Vaughan is a great guy and a great PH. I was considering hunting with him again this year, but my plans changed.

I did a plainsgame hunt with Vaughan in 2007 in three different areas. It was fantastic! I would give you a link to my hunt report but I don't know how to do that. (I'm sure you could find it if you do a search.) I strongly recommend hunting with him!!
