I'm on EK0713 to Harare 29 June departing 0925 hrs so I'm guessing it's the same flight.
I've had contact with a gentleman from Texas, TJ, who is also on this flight and we have a tentative plan to try meeting in Dubai airport, but I can't remember if he's bound for Lusaka or Harare.
If you Whatsapp my cell is +6421934201 ( Grant ) if you would like to txt. It would be great to meet you if we can connect.
My flight into Dubai arrives around 5:30 am.

Jim,
I have seen some of Steve's Buff photos. Beyond lucky - I think at times he probably walks on water Big Grin . Yes, I hope a little of Steve's luck sticks to me.
For my part at CMS I'm hunting with Alan Shearing so feel like I'm halfway there ! The rest is down to hard work and fair winds.

Darin,

This safari is all about our investors coming together. We have strung up some baits and looked at some dagga boys and consumed volumes of whiskey and good food. The hunting has been secondary and we are having fun.

Andrew you certainly know how to set a bait for 2 legged as well as 4 legged critters!!!!

Give my Baby Boy, Tom a big hug... and you better give Steve one too, from me! I can hear the laughing in camp coming from camp all the way to California!!!

Can't wait for the report!!! Darin

The shot was freehand at close quarters in brush and the buff was hit well in the chest but simply refused to die. He led us into some thick shit and we put him down with a volley of shots as he tried to start his nonsense. The 400's proved their worth that morning.

Steve's first shot had been good and we were amazed at how long this buff survived and at one point thought we were going to loose it.
