Actually took it with my 300 win mag. There were 7 crocs on the little sandy island in the river behind me. It was a hell of a stalk, crawl and belly slither to get into position. First shot took the brain but I shot it 3 times until all movement stopped. 2nd shot in chest and third shot in neck broke spine. Croc never actually moved an inch but the tail kept moving until spine shot.

Good Hunting,

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Sorry to hear about your ankle David.

You still did very well, thats one nice looking bushbuck.

I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.
