fairgameWe did well in Zambia last season.
Although the official measurements have yet to be announced it would seem PH Thor Kirchner's Chobe Bushbuck was the largest taken in Zambia.
And my Sable was the 5 largest ever recorded here.

Precisely. Never look a gift Sable (or Bushbuck) in the mouth. Get out of the truck and shoot it!

I believe I had the same bushbuck in my sights a couple of years ago and hunted him hard thereafter but to no avail. Who knows maybe it was another? The trophy quality for Bushbuck here is phenomenal and my best was 18 plus.

Yes at Umpangalla. It had horns of a Nyala. But never saw it again. You would be hard pressed to find a better place for the Chobe.

I would not have shot them, I would have waited for an old broomed off specimen.
