Rifle was Ruger # 1 in 375 H&H, 250 Barnes TTSX @ 2800+ FPS resulted in 8 one shot stops

My son Alex, friend Dennis and I hunted with Africa Maximum Safaris from 24 June - 2 July.

Lori Ginn, Travel Express coordinated our travel and provided numerous helpful hints.

We used SAFARI CONCIERGE for our rifle permits and assit thru Pasport control and everything was seamless.

Their lodge is in Woodstock and we hunted various properties from -3 hours away. Food was very good and game was plentiful.

Those Limpopo bushbuck are outstanding. The length with the kickout at the ends make them outstanding.
Welcome home and good shooting.

Great pics. Super bushbucks! What cal. was your buddy's stainless no. 1? My son and I just finished our DG safari a little over a week ago, and we both used 375 H&H Ruger no.1s.

Congratulations, Brian T.

Your pictures are all well done but I especially like the one of your son and his bushbuck. Great the things you can get when someone else is the designated photographer.

Stunning Bushbucks.

I have a decent one on the wall that is opposite my desk in my office. That and my warthogs are my favourite trophies, but I would really like to find time to go back and hunt another bushbuck. This time I'd want to hold out for something with mass like yours.
