Just an observation but by mid May last year there were some 20 odd reports on African hunts to enjoy.

This year there have only been a few so far.

Are people hunting later this year / hunting but not writing reports or not hunting Africa as much?

I for one would find it a great shame if people quit writing reports. I have learned a great deal from other peoples reports and enjoy seeing the pictures and reading the stories. This section is as good as many African hunting books!

My first clients of the season just finished up in Zim. They are AR member so they may do a report.

All I can report so far for this year is that the turkey hunting woods looked more like December than April. Who wants to read about that?

Folks here have gotten tired of the nitpicking criticism that often accompanies a report. Sad really, but we seem to eat our own.....

Got a busy hunting schedule coming up but none of it involves Africa. It's all in Alaska.

On a side note incase I haven't said this lately...... Photobucket sucks. Pretty much ruined everything I've posted on here that have images supporting the report. Mad

Cheers
Jim

We all bet on photobucket.

Took ar from internet circa 2003 to bulletin board circa 1992 in one fine swoop.

I enjoy seeing hunt reports very much.I agree that there doesn't seem to be near as many now compared to the past.I don't know the reason for this.It could be that people don't want there pictures all over the web.Whatever the case I look forward to posting another this fall.
I do feel that because of anti hunters use of social media in targeting hunters you will not see as good as the kind of hunt reports we once had.

I didn’t post last September largely because of the image hosting issue. I dislike computers enough that I just didn’t want to learn new hoops to jump through.

I agree, I have always enjoyed coming on here and reading reports and seeing pictures. Photobucket has definitely made that harder.

I hope members start posting more as I know I will from my trip in Sept.

I also had my pics hijacked by photobucket. I'm not much into computers and I'm 71 years old. Well if I can learn how to post with a new photo hosting website anyone can. I now use Imgur.com. Went through a little learning curve but have now found it to be much easier than photobucket.

Hunt reports are great...uploading photo options needs to change. Maybe Saeed can address this issue?
