It is four days now before the next guest arrives. Four days to get everything sorted from the last hunt, and prepare for the next. I also thought it good to post a general feedback on some of the animals that was hunted with us this year so far, by some of the clients. All the hunters took an average of 5 animals each, but it would be a VERY long report to get it all in one go.Average money spent for 7/8 days with 5 animals was between $5-6k. Only one hunter did not get 1 animal that he wanted..... I decided to post some of the best photo’s, and most special trophies. Two of the hunters are AR members, and they have reported on their hunts, so I will not bore our friends with my part of the same story. Other hunters expressed their reservations of having their full names given on a web-site, but all hunters are willing referees, and can be contacted. Enjoy! John- U.S.A. Rifle: .375 H&H- FN Browning – 270gr. Nosler Accubonds. Hunting Area: Loskop Valley-South Africa – 2 hours from O.R. Tambo International Airport- 3000acre game fenced. Hunting method- Walk and Stalk, Spot and Stalk Terrain- Mountainous, Bushveldt Woodland, Riverine Bush The area burned a month before we started hunting, so some of the animals have greyer appearance than normal, going after the new green grass in the black sooth) Waterbuck  Eland (lying funny, and looking small in doing so. Make no mistake, he was big.....)  Gemsbuck  Red Hartebeest  Bill- U.K. Rifle- .22-250 Custom Build - .55gr. Hornday V-max Hunting Area- Victoria West- Great Karoo Terrain- Mountainous semi-dessert Karoo VERMIN AND CULL HUNT Long distance shooting 200m + Dassies (2 hours in the morning)  Springbuck  David-U.S.A. Rifle- .280 Weatherby Mark-V Hunting Area: Loskop Valley-South Africa – 2 hours from O.R. Tambo International Airport- 3000acre game fenced. Hunting method- Walk and Stalk, Spot and Stalk Terrain- Mountainous, Bushveldt Woodland, Riverine Bush Impala  Terry-U.S.A Rifle: .300 Win Mag. - 180 gr. Swift A-Frames Hunting Area: Loskop Valley-South Africa – 2 hours from O.R. Tambo International Airport- 3000acre game fenced. Hunting method- Walk and Stalk, Spot and Stalk Terrain- Mountainous, Bushveldt Woodland, Riverine Bush Bushpig (07:00 in the morning)  Roy- U.K. Rifle: .30-06 Spring. - .180gr. Nosler partitions Bow: Matthews 70lb's. Hunting Area: Infinito Safaris Game Ranch- Murata Sky- Limpopo Valley South Africa Terrain: Bushveldt woodland Hunting method: Disabled Hunter- Blinds as well as "spot and stalk" Kudu (rifle)  Kudu(Bow -next morning)  Bushbuck  Warthog (did not have time to take photo's in the veldt, so the guys at the camp improvised......we were after a big Waterbuck....)  Bernard- U.K. Rifle- .22Hornet and 308Win - .45gr and 180gr Hunting Area- Victoria West- Great Karoo and Loskop Valley Limpopo province Terrain- Mountainous semi-dessert Karoo & Bushveldt woodland. VERMIN AND CULL HUNT Long distance shooting 200m + Bernard came on a cull hunt, and ended up taking one of the best trophies for our season, this monster Steenbok!  Warthog (290 yards on the rangefinder!)  Bernard after the long shot over the lake. The pig was sick, and in very poor condition..... Thanks David, Yes, the new grass shoots are making it a lot easier to find the animals, and the strange, out of place rainfall helped the grass in turn. We are going on the 10'th to the 13'th to cull all the Blue Wildebeest as there was an outbreak of snotsickness on the neighbouring property.
