I received an email today from my PH Hannes Els of Limcroma Safaris. In it was a short description and photo of the Leopard taken by one of his clients. I thought some of you would like to see this cat.

Limcroma Safaris' PH Eric Sorour
Hunter, Jody Adams from Louisiana

This cat is pending top 10 SCI and over 7 ft long. Weight close to 200 lb.

JP: I think that's the fella I mentioned in the "Rumor of a big lepoard" thread I posted on the Africa forum. The guy wasn't kidding me while we were in the customs line at Dulles!

Thats a great cat and certianly any hunter should be quite proud of it. But if that cat is pushing 200 lbs. than the man holding it is over 350 lbs. I hope I don't offend the hunter apparently he is over 7 feet tall.

Congratulations to the happy hunter. That is one great leopard! I can say it dwarfs mine, as the hunter is large, and the feet are still on the ground!

For reference, here's a pic of my 7'6" 152# leopard from last month's trip. I'm 6'2" and 240#, my trackers and dog handlers are both about 5'6" and 160#.

The guy was close to six feet tall, and probably 205 or so. He told me the cat was 185.

If I remember correctly,I met Mr Adams at the Dallas show when he came by the booth and he was taller then me, I am 6' and 235.

If you notice at least a foot of the cats tail is on the ground.
