In addition to Miko's hunt we have done another couple of good hunts on Munya this year.

It is very encouraging to see how our wildlife population is increasing very fast. When I took over Munyamadzi 5 years ago we only had around 50-60 buffalo. Now we have over 150 in our area. I expect to have over 300 in the next 5 years!

Our cats and other game are also increasing massively. Only the elephant are not increasing so fast due to the escalation of poaching in the GMA across the Luangwa river.

We put a very big effort into anti poaching and I spend the full rainy season in the area together with all the mosquitos to insure the anti poaching teams are doing their job.

Another important major factor is that we pay a lot of scouts. We have one scout per 1,000 hectares.

Granted, I've never seen one alive, but is that an unusual skin on the croc?

Just freshly washed off would be my guess.

The colour on croc skins vary. This one was more colourful than usual.
