Congratulations Will,
Looks like you had about as much fun/excitement as could possibly be fit in Smiler
Thierry is a great guy, I still chuckle about some of his one-liners when I think about it.

The hunt must of been a little boring for you with no charges at all Big Grin

Good luck with the ele/lion

Good for you Will.

I recognize some of those spots where the photos were taken.

I leave in about 60 days. That picture of Peter asleep is really giving me some ammunition. I am going to present him a framed copy!

Larry,

I don't know if Felix was on Will's hunt, but what I can tell you is that he is working for me now, on the borderline walk project. We are not walking right now because of problems that are just too involved to get into, but Felix will be with me for the next God knows how long. I am very chuffed he signed up, couldn't think of a better chap to accompany me. He has been working for my dad for 25 years now and will continue working for him when the walk is finished. We have a good understanding. I will tell him you said hi, if you want to say hi.

Cheers, David

Thanks for sharing your hunt with us, you have a gift to be able to be able to put the words together so good. I hunted buffalo in the Selous in 2000, by reading your account I was relived my hunt.

Thanks for the story ,Will. Beautiful animals. My wife Lynn also loved the Save land snails. Atrophy is in the eye of the beholder.Your last two hunt reports have piqued my interest in Thierry. Jim

Dear Safari

That was the hunt of a life time and I think your luck for a few hunts has been used up.

Great trip, report and pic's

Well done and hope to be in camp with you one day.

My trophies are scheduled to ship October 24.

Last hunting day was July 24.

That's 90 days from skinning shed to 747!

Wow!

Will, great story. I am so jealous. I want a Buff so bad. I met you and your lovely wife at SCI when you were speaking with Rocky and Bret. Good luck on your upcoming trips.

LJ: Nice to meet you as well. Keep hanging in there with Bret and Rocky and they'll have you on a cape buff soon enough. If not, call me. I know a good place or two.

Worth reading a second time.

Will, you are one blessed man. And you are leaving again soon, right?

Well done.

Read the report again for about the 100th time.

It never gets old!

Can't wait to read the report of this year's adventure.

Did I mention it's killing me waiting until next year? You'll be there TWICE before I get my boots on the ground! Aaaarrrrgggghhhhhhh!

I am headed to Blaauwkrantz this July to hunt with the Rudman's and cannot wait. Buff is the highest on my wish list but not on this trip. I want a buff so bad I have buff-itis. I am actually hoping my next trip in I hope 2013 will be for Buff and Hippo. For some reason Hippo is right behind Buff on my list.

Good luck this summer. I cannot wait to see the pics and read the report.

Great report Will. Thanks to your reports I booked this same hunt for 2012 with Thierry. I sure hope it works out for me and I get a chance at a leopard as good as the one you shot. I should have a go at a good buffalo as well and hopefully the kudu have made a good comeback as well.
