Congratulations Will,
Looks like you had about as much fun/excitement as could possibly be fit in
Thierry is a great guy, I still chuckle about some of his one-liners when I think about it.
The hunt must of been a little boring for you with no charges at all
Good luck with the ele/lion
Congratulations Will, that was an outstanding hunt and an excellent report and photos.
Regards
Aziz

larryshoresGood for you Will.
I recognize some of those spots where the photos were taken.
I leave in about 60 days. That picture of Peter asleep is really giving me some ammunition. I am going to present him a framed copy!

Were Chuma and Felix there?
02 August 2010, 00:31
David HulmeLarry,
I don't know if Felix was on Will's hunt, but what I can tell you is that he is working for me now, on the borderline walk project. We are not walking right now because of problems that are just too involved to get into, but Felix will be with me for the next God knows how long. I am very chuffed he signed up, couldn't think of a better chap to accompany me. He has been working for my dad for 25 years now and will continue working for him when the walk is finished. We have a good understanding. I will tell him you said hi, if you want to say hi.
Cheers, David

larryshoresInteresting. Chuma worked at ARDA for 30 years.
Thanks for sharing your hunt with us, you have a gift to be able to be able to put the words together so good. I hunted buffalo in the Selous in 2000, by reading your account I was relived my hunt.

LJ: Nice to meet you as well. Keep hanging in there with Bret and Rocky and they'll have you on a cape buff soon enough. If not, call me. I know a good place or two.

FishN4EyesRead the report again for about the 100th time.
It never gets old!
Can't wait to read the report of this year's adventure.
Did I mention it's killing me waiting until next year? You'll be there TWICE before I get my boots on the ground! Aaaarrrrgggghhhhhhh!

LittleJoeI am headed to Blaauwkrantz this July to hunt with the Rudman's and cannot wait. Buff is the highest on my wish list but not on this trip. I want a buff so bad I have buff-itis. I am actually hoping my next trip in I hope 2013 will be for Buff and Hippo. For some reason Hippo is right behind Buff on my list.
Good luck this summer. I cannot wait to see the pics and read the report.
Great report Will. Thanks to your reports I booked this same hunt for 2012 with Thierry. I sure hope it works out for me and I get a chance at a leopard as good as the one you shot. I should have a go at a good buffalo as well and hopefully the kudu have made a good comeback as well.
