First let me say there is no such thing as a bad hunt report as far as I'm concerned. I read them all. I learn something from them all. I enjoy the pictures in them all regardless of the level of photographic skill. And lastly I thank everyone who has ever taken the time to share their hunt via this report forum. I do wonder though what type of report you personally like or prefer. Some folks do a short "nuts & bolts" report listing area, PH etc. and a short description of animals taken with photos. The Gestalt of reports Some do a longer version of the "nuts & bolts report. A limited number have done the "real time" report. That doesn't mean it has to be like Saeed that has a sat modem but more an "I wrote it each day while there report" and then posted it en masse. And lastly, some on here are excellent "story tellers" and write the report so it reflects the sights, sounds, smells, and emotions of well written prose. Vote for your favorite type and tell us why that's what you like. ______________________ DRSS ______________________ Hunt Reports 2015 His & Her Leopards with Derek Littleton of Luwire Safaris - http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/2971090112 2015 Trophy Bull Elephant with CMS http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/1651069012 DIY Brooks Range Sheep Hunt 2013 - http://forums.accuratereloadin...901038191#9901038191 Zambia June/July 2012 with Andrew Baldry - Royal Kafue http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/7971064771 Zambia Sept 2010- Muchinga Safaris http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/4211096141 Namibia Sept 2010 - ARUB Safaris http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/6781076141

I take the time to read those I have an interest in... either I have been there, want to be there or plan on heading there! As long it is interesting and well-written with good coverage of game availability, terrain to be expected, trophy quality estimations, and lodging review, I like 'em all. As I have said before ALL hunt reports add to the body of knowledge about outfitters and their concessions and are worthwhile! I appreciate the time you guys and gals take to create them. On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died. I'm with you. Sometimes I just look at the pictures but I find when Judge G applies his writting skill I read every word. I just wondered about other folks. ______________________ DRSS ______________________ Hunt Reports 2015 His & Her Leopards with Derek Littleton of Luwire Safaris - http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/2971090112 2015 Trophy Bull Elephant with CMS http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/1651069012 DIY Brooks Range Sheep Hunt 2013 - http://forums.accuratereloadin...901038191#9901038191 Zambia June/July 2012 with Andrew Baldry - Royal Kafue http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/7971064771 Zambia Sept 2010- Muchinga Safaris http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/4211096141 Namibia Sept 2010 - ARUB Safaris http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/6781076141

100% agree But huge benefit is also long after the report, when researching a new trip, to have a data/information rich report to read, about outfitter, PH, conditions, animals, hunting style etc... -> case in point, would have been great to have something before our latest reindeer hunt And lets face it, those who take really good pictures (and I'm not one) are really great... especially during the "off" season (when is that exactly?)
