It took me a while to get around to organizing these pics. I figured you all might enjoy a few more of the beast that was shot a few weeks back in Mozambique. Note the full mane, black in color.

Luckily while we were tracking Elephant we stumbled on this two day old Roan kill and were fortunate enough to let the other team know where the Lion was feeding.

This lion looks like it never had a fight in its life , which means it is not an old veteran , the pink on the nose although not a fool proof gauge can be used , the mouth does not droop at the jowels and the skin is sheen and not dull. I think the cats around 4-5 1/2 but is a first class trophy Lion , well done !!

looks like a skinned out cat's paw, perhaps the Roan and the Lion got in a fight....
