Hi All,

Mokore Safaris has been no exception to the damaging year of 2020, keeping three massive areas running has proved challenging and without the support from the hunting fraternity, both international and local, it may have proved impossible. October 1st brought a bit of hope with Zimbabwe's borders opening. Mokore has had some great deals that has got our season - albeit late - finishing with a BANG! Hunting late in the season normally rewards the hunters that don't mind the heat, sweat and dust with some great trophies and this year was no exception. All Air travel went very smoothly assisted by very efficient C19 testing system and result turn around (3Hrs) in Hre.
Once again thank you to those that have braved traveling and well done on a few great Safaris!
Here are some pictures from our hunts in October and early Nov. We have incredible deals both in Mozambique and Sengwa still running - Enjoy!

Once again a big Thankyou and well done to all those involved!

Wonderful!

However, there must be a story behind the lioness. Please share.

Any Lion siting whilst on foot can get the blood pumping a little faster, however no dramatic story this time around!

Doug,
Do your zebras have shadow stripes?

I had always thought Zebras in Zimbabwe had shadow stripes.

That guy appears to not.

Great pics and I’m sure some great stories as well.

The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood.

Congrats!!! tu2 There's some monster eland in those pics! Love that last Klipspringer-huge! tu2 By the way, what did the wide Kudu measure, if you know? I shot one very similar to that one in Zim a few years back near Sissyvale. Measured 59 1/2 " by 58 1/4", with about two inches missing from the shorter horn. Big Grin

Those wide kudu can really carry some inches! I had never seen a 'wide' kudu like that before I shot the one in Zimbabwe. It was shot for Leopard bait, but when we measured it, I gladly paid the trophy fee on it! tu2
