Hi guys, thought you'd like to hear about this great bull shot by RCG with PH Barry Style at Pandamasuwe, on the first morning of his hunt! Not officially weighed yet, but camp scale showed 68 and 70 pounds respectively. Makorokoto RCG, congratulations, a fine bull! Hunt report to follow.

It's a good story that RCG will tell.
Hopefully we'll have some good photos to add to the report as well.

Maybe taken with a .275 rigby like Karamojo?

Hi guys! Just got back last night and am still a bitty groggy. I will post a hunt report in a few days and Les will provide the pictures.

It was a great hunt and I am extremely lucky to have taken this bull.

I will answer one of the questions now. Regarding the rifle, it is an original Oberndorf sporter Model B made in 1911. The caliber is 10.75x68mm. I handloaded 400 grain Woodleigh solids using Horneber brass and Varget powder. I achieved 2150 fps of MV with no pressure signs and excellent accuracy. It holds 5 down and I have stripper clips for it. I shot him at 30 yards with a side brain shot.

Thanks for the comments. More to follow in a few days.

Regards,

RCG
