What David Boyles failed to mention was the leopard was on the scale at 96 kelos. And skull was green scored at 17". A great cat for a humble hunter.

Congrats once again on your hunt Mr. Boyles. I don't think any one can beat Save for the density of huge leopards they have there. Another buddy of mine was there 2 weeks earlier and had 8 toms on 11 baits. It's always good to see a good fella get good and lucky.
One more thing I think Mr. Boyles forgot to mention was I think this cat dropped on night 3 of his Safari.

A great set of trophies and a classic doublegun! Who did you hunt with in the Save?

Great trophies, awesome double!

I got to meet David Monday. Once again through AR and the DRSS I had the pleasure of meeting a very nice person I would have otherwise not known!

The quality of your hunt and trophies does not surprise me at all. Leon du Plessis is a highly competent PH and he runs a class operation. Congratulations to you Sir

One more thing. I just heard from Leon over there and they just had a cancellation on a lep/buff hunt over there for this season. I think he is very motivated to sell it and any interested parties should send him an e-mail. You can reach him at matranch@mweb.co.zw . I have hunted on four safaris with him and have killed a lot of high quality trophies. You can PM me if you want a refference.

Wow! At 96 kilos, that is a monster cat, a true freak of nature. Rarely do leopards get that big.

Congradulations! You should be right up there in the record books.

The cat actually weighed 94 Kilos on Leons scales and I'm still nuring a pulled back muscle from my heft of that brute for photos. Nothing like attempting 204 lbs. of dead weight to sort out your 60 year old back.
