What a great hunt, you definitely had every excuse to not go. That was a tough start to the hunt.

Congrats! I look forward to the pictures.

Out of curiosity, I assume the other elephant in your "two-fer" was not a tuskless.....I assume that has the potential to get expensive...?

Guys I just got home. I am exhausted . I will post pictures later.

I did the report on my I pad while flying back. I need to fix the numerous typos .

As for the second elephant on the twofer , it was a tusked cow. No one saw it including the game scout who was right there. We contacted the authorities, told them the truth and promptly had all of the meat and hide delivered to them. It ended up being no problem .

Let me comment further about the game scout. His name was Test. This was my 21st Safari. Test was no doubt the best game scout I have ever seen. He worked hard. He participated in the hunt . He was definitely interested . He had a hell of a sense of humor . He was a real asset to the safari.

Congratulations on making the hunt.

The Omay is a special place, beautiful but tough at times. Lake Kariba is magnificent. I have more than once wondered what the odds of swimming 200 yards in the lake and surviving would be.

Yep I agree with Mike 110%... the Omay is tough but rewarding hunting. That is one heck of a flattie Larry! Well done... and you are tougher than me. I would have probably aborted the trip. You made the right call.

Well done Larry ! Huge croc - must have been exciting as hell !

Strange thing about people - I also met a nice guy in Pedza camp the last couple of days of my safari with CMS. He was a Russian also. Tell you more about this later in my report.

Great report and pics Larry, thanks for sharing. Thats a very nice Crocodile, congratulations. I have hunted from both Chifudzi and Ume River Camp in HHK days. That Ume camp is definitely the most scenic camp that I have been to.

Very nice Larry. That two for one shot sure must have been fun for Martin to explain to the authorities.

I agree that the roads between Chifudzi and the Ume camps are terrible but I enjoyed seeing all the extra countryside.

Great report . I took a 13.5 Crocodile In Mozambique in 2008 I think that Crocodile hunting is the most under rated hunt in Africa when we opened him up there was a roiled up fishing net a sling shot and a plastic bag that the locals use as a keral and some unidentified bones that could be hunman . Hunted up in the Binga area next to lake Kariba many many big Crocks

Larry, once again nice report and well done, particularly on hooking that "tiddler" fish. It's harder to catch them that small!!!

Well done to Bruce too.
