Our first client has just got back from Cameroon and shot some great trophies.











We have been arranging hunts in Cameroon for over 10 years, working with a relatively unknown operator whose pricing is way below the BIG name outfitters, but as good trophy quality. This european client's focus was on old animals, he loved the Kob with the broken horn.

As mentioned on other recent Cameroon posts, this is a hunt that you need to do sooner than later. Even if it's just for buffalo, roan and plains game. This is the last country left to hunt the W.African species, especially the Giant Eland!!

Congratulations to your client on some fine, old animals. That LDE looks great, worn ridges and heavily broomed tips.

Arjun, you are 100% correct that anyone wanting to hunt these species better do it as soon as possible. The President is something like 94 now, and when he passes it is anyone’s guess if hunting will continue or not.

I wish I had gone before the pandemic instead of last year. But I’m very glad that I got to go and hunt Lord Derby Eland the one time I did. Fascinating hunt and animal.

Who are you booking for Arjun?

With the population explosion in that country , I imagine the days of being able to do this hunt is very limited .
