Don't recall rifles getting lost but accomodation facilities proved to be difficult to locate later in the evening.
Fifteen meters is a considerable distance on a gin darkened night.

Lion and Sable of my dreams!

Congratulations Andrew.

You know how to show hunters a successful hunt and a good time.

Anxious to return!

You could have gone to the Boobye or whatever it is called or that Sango place and shot your Lion from the comfort of the dining room. But it is just not cricket as us Brits say.

Andrew, I am disappointed that you saw fit to make that comment. It is an insult to the professional hunters who operate in the BVC and SVC. And it is an insult to the investment and long term commitment under impossible circumstances that have made both areas successful, providing viable habitat for all of the Big Five, including lion. Cricket my ass.

Hi David,

Agreed and that was under the belt and apologies to those that hunt there. These secure estates maybe the future models of hunting in Africa which for me is a disturbing thought. My vision is one of a Lion roaming vast horizons and forging deep rivers at will.

My crude point was for example the Bubye has recently stated that the USF&W ban has resulted in 500 excess Lions and this intensive management has resulted in artificial enhanced populations bred for hunting. That there are those who choose to hunt remoter corners and seek the unexpected. The anticipation of totally free range without the confines of grids road or fence.

Sango has proven that it will sell your safari to the highest bidder. If this means success then they can keep it.

Andrew, once again it seems you can't help yourself. Unless you were a party to the safari arrangements you are referring to, you know absolutely nothing other than what has been posted here.

David here we differ and I can and will help myself as I do believe what has been posted here and cannot remember your comments to the contrary. Seen this sort of shit many times before in this industry and a lot worse. When hunting becomes a money grab and not a sport, when the word sporting does not occur in our language then I will hang up my guns.

You didn't see my comments to the contrary because I don't make it a habit of chiming in on other people's business that I am not a party to. Regarding the business of safari and the concept and practice of sport, we're on the same page.
