Sengwe should not be confused with Sengwa - Sengwe is in the far south and Sengwa is in the far north. Sengwe still offers decent hunting but Sengwa has little to offer now. A great pity as it used to be a wildlife paradise in the early 90s, the plains black with buffalo. There was an abundance of plainsgame too. I walked through the area a while back and saw only two warthogs hightailing it for the trees.....

That's a great buff.

Does it really cost $6,000 USD to fly charter from Johannesburg?

Unfortunately, that is for 4 legs:
- one from jhb to camp 650km's
- one back to jhb 650 km's
- one to return back to camp for a pick up 650 km's
- and last one to fly back to jhb 650 km's

but one can always work something out, the drive is not to bad, its 12 hours but a nice one if broken up properly - cost per person is $500 usd, max $1000 for 3 pax one way
