I love that last pic of the OLD buffalo with broken horns. Now that is my kind of trophy. Keep up the good work. Hopefully, there will be more elephant and lion permits working through the back log. Is Nyakasanga the area that was a auction area?

Buzz,
I really look forward to the CMS Newsletters. Thanks for postingg this current testimonial to the continuing success of Dande Safari Area. As always, such great success for your hunters. My own very fond memories are once again stirred. I must say that photo of Nyakasanga camp does look inviting !
My best regards to you and family. Also to Myles and Alan please.

Great pictures of Dande and the camps. No picture can do Dande justice. An incredible spot and Myles showed us the best of it. Really missing the place.

Already I was beginning to fall into the African way of thinking: That if
you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on
the animal's terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the
day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely
killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed
because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always
recapture the day - Robert Ruark

Looks like an excellent season so far Buzz!

Simply outstanding, Buzz! I love the Dande! Great work by DAPU. Do you find that DAPU's hard work, in keeping the villagers' fields intact from the elephants, helps to also cut down on poaching from that aspect?(.i.e. friendly assistance provided to and public relations with the locals-not just purely chasing poachers)

Thanks for posting this Buzz, been really busy and just now had time to read this on AR, I feel priveleged to recognize most of your camps. Our time hunting with Myles and the many, many miles walked looking for the "right" elephant are among my favorite hunting memories. Hopefully, next time we can find the "right" one.
