Hey Guys

I just acquired a 14-inch .30 Herrett barrel for my contender and I'm thinking about trying .22 cal. sabots in it. I already have the sabots and I plan on trying 52g HPBT Noslers bullets and 75g Hornady. I read on another site that W296 & 2400 powders works well with the sabots in a 30 Herrett. Also, what kind of accuracy can I expect with them.

Does anyone have any experience in this area?

In the April 2003 issue of Varmint Hunter Magazine there is an article on this subject.
