I have came in contact with some lead bullets for my 7 TCU. They are 175 grain, with a gas check. Got about 300 of them so i need a good start load. Been told to keep velocity under 1800 fps. I need to shoot these up so any help is appreciated.

I used 16 grains of H110 in Win cases, WLR primers with a 160 cast bullet. Never chrono'd it was very accurate and not much in the way of leading. I WOULD REDUCE this load by about 1 grain to start with those 180's. If you have a Lyman manual, check it for blue dot loads, if you dont have one, shoot me an email and i will check mine.... Try Accurate Arms XMP 5744 Start at 16 grains - 1400 fps Max load of 18.0 grains -1600 fps OAL - 2.495 inches XMP 5744 is a very bulky cast bullet powder and is position insensitive. Works well in any gun I own with cast or jacketed bullets.
