sierra 135 gr pro hunter?

Hi
if you have used this bullet on deer or other big games ,please tell me about it's proformance. i am trying to load it in my 3030 savage 340 at 2400 fps would it hold together on big game at this velocity?

I think it will do just fine at 2400. That is a clip fed rifle?

Shot that bullet in a 14" 30-30 contender at about 2300 fps. Kills deer dead.

I had a 340 Carbine in 30-30 and it would put the Hornady 130 grain single shot pistol bullets into sub 1" groups @ 100 yards like clock work. The SSP bullet was just a bit too explosive for deer at the velocities my rifle produced.....it killed the deer......just killed them deader than necessary [Big Grin]

However, I believe the Sierra 135 will be tough enough that you won't have any problems at 2400 fps.......
