I believe that there are 3 or 4 different versions of 30/223. I was looking into doing such a cartridge awhile ago. The basic knock on that combo from what I was able to find out was that it was very tempormental. After hearing this info I ended up bypassing that project.

3 or 4 versions... Good just what I like to hear.
Tempormental... also another plus!!
