Has anyone tried chamabering a 307 Winchester in a Contender pistol. What kind of muzzle velocity do you think you could get safly out of a 14" BBL. I know this case is raided for 52,000 Psi

Mike Bellm used to chamber the 300 B&S which is 307 win brass resized in a 300 savage FL die. I still have a super 14 (30-30) barrel re-chambered by Mike to 300 B&S. It is my favorite barrel.

You might want to read my post below concerning the 356 win (307 win based) for the reason (s) why not.

We'll have to get Mike to do a 358 Bellm/Stewart now with the 307 brass so you can have a matched set there Wildcat.
