Atlanta international airport, waiting to board a South African Airlines jet to Africa......and standing at the counter is none other than JD Jones himself.......Yep, my wife and I were on the same flight as JD and his wife......we talked briefly about where each of us was hunting and then boarded the plane.......well, it's a 14 hour and 50 minute flight......so.....JD looked me up (you have to get up and walk around to endure the flight) and we talked for better than 2 hours.........no matter what you may have heard about JD, let me tell you, in person, he is a nice guy! My wife and I enjoyed visiting with JD and his wife......he has some great stories about hunting Africa and everywhere else!

You sure are lucky. I have always wanted to sit down and talk with him. My dealings with him have been first rate. Lone Hunter

You lucky dog. I was at JD's shop twice last fall and there for 2.5 hrs. Sure got to see a lot of neat toys. I could sit and listen to him all day long.

JD is a first rate guy. Never met him but have had some lengthy phone conversations. Plethora of ballistic know how.
