I just wanted to put this up for Sig owners who have a life and are not on the internet all day. There seems to be a growing focus on the 320 and serious potential issues with the pistol firing without trigger manipulation. There is a claimed FBI document floating around about it. I don't know the truth but I just thought I would bring it up for those interested.
I can inly speak for me but here it is ; I have carried defensive firearms both professionally and personally continually for over 50 years. If I had ANY thought at all that a firearm had the possibility of reliability I would NOT be carrying that firearm. If you NEED a defensive handgun you NEED it to work EVERY time.
The Dept of Defense just announced it is keeping the M17/18 Sig design despite the FBI report. Not surprising, it has 100's of millions of $$ in the project. In the end, it's always about $$.
I'd bet local agencies will follow the federal agencies and dump the 320 over time. City/county counsel will force them to.

As a parallel, Porsche had a late 90s problem with their cars called ISS and they failed to correct it. It caused ill will and permanent lost customers.
Clayman is spot on; as an INS/ICE retired Special Agent, my thinking is a defensive pistol must be 100% reliable. SIG should step up and fix the problem,or their image will not improve. DHS probably did the right thing.
