Just happened to see this thread. Scruffy, many thanks again for the copy you sent me. Hard to put such a fun read down. I read it clear thru in one sitting, if you don't call p time and eats as breaks in it. Am glad some folks get to go hunting like you do. Damn that's a lot of geese! Believe I have the last four of your books. Now you've got to write one about sturgeon fishing and show those pictures!~ Would be nice if you'd post them here too just for bait for the next book. Stay well and enjoy what you do. PS: guys, Scruffy and Lady Margaret went fishing. She caught the biggest at 7 feet. One hell of a fish! Great pics too. I have written several, starting in 2003 with THE LUCKIEST HUNTER ALIVE! A second book came out a few years later: THE LUCKIEST HUNTER IS STILL ALIVE. Then a book about thirty or so years of stories about my huntin cabins in Pennsylvania, CABIN FEVER. After that, I started publishing my stuff on Amazon Kindle. THE LUCKIEST HUNTER WITH ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE came out in 2016. Since then I have done year diaries that mostly center about our hunting camp in southwestern PA, Camp Rip-N-Tear. I have done four of them so far with a fifth currently being worked on. The first two were out of print, but I have done second editions of them. I also did two coffee table type books: A photo album with lots of photos from hunting trips, but no dead animals for a change, and a book about my best ever English setter, MUGS: MY LIFE AND TIMES. All of the above are available on Amazon.com. Here is a link if anyone is interested. You could also do a search for Books written by me, George R. Naugle https://www.amazon.com/s?k=geo...%2C71&ref=nb_sb_noss Most of my money I spent on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted | |||
