I have a small herd of completely free-ranging hog deer on my ranch in South Africa and would like to know what experiences you have of them in Australia. I believe that they get very big there. Victoria and where else?

I am referring to antler size. The stag (buck?) we weighed here was 62kg live weight.

About 40kg dressed weight is big here and antlers in the 16-17" mark are considered a big trophy. I have a 10" and a 13 3/4" stag and both are from the Victorian herd. Cheers, Mark.
