Bit dissapointed i havnt heard anything but with it being so dry would that keep the quiet? location lower north island, private land of course. anyone heard any? have heard that some fallow are making noises..

Central North island fallow were quiet last weekend - stags were still away from the female. Not much happening with reds either. ________________________ Old enough to know better

In South America the same. See my post in that Forum about my argentinian hunt. Very little roar early in the morning and nearly nothing in the evening. At night was another story, lots of roaring. L

A bloke I work with went into the Cascade the week b4 Easter & saw only hinds & young, Stags all up high still & showing no interest in the ladies. So either to early or too dry for them to get going just yet. Steve.
