Very stupid!

I saw some Japanese tourist in Yellowstone trying to pet a cow elk and her calf, and about 2 hours later some more trying to pet some buffalo also with calves.

A complete lack of wildlife give you people who have a complete lack of common sense.

As an American visitor here, I realize that it's NOT a cat, but is it some kind of wallaby or bushbaby? Could someone please give a correct ID for us foreigners who aren't that familiar with the smaller animals down under?

I had to do some research to make sure you I wasn't being teased, since a possum in the U.S looks a little different. I grabbed the following picture from another website, but it shows what Americans call a "Possum". I don't think that even the Japanese could mistake one of ours for a cat; with it's naked tail and hand like paws ours looks more like a rat than a cat.

The whole thing is just another recycled joke, I've seen the same poster in the AR Humour section with some US critter on it instead.
