Dingoes on one side, feral dogs on the other ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Bloody impressive project getting that stretch of country refenced. Cost doesn't seem entirely ridiculous either. Question is ( to you Oz guys ) how effective and helpful to sheep farmers will this be in the long run ? The fence proponents are convinced but what's the truth ? Hunting.... it's not everything, it's the only thing.

I don't think its effective at all. Same with the rabbit fence, bloody rabbits were on both sides. ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Very effective along with the usual control methods. The next valley over from me run a lot of sheep whereas we are a cattle valley and many of the sheep men have seven hot wires for fencing, without it there would be no sheep. Exclusion fencing works with the correct maintenance. Posts: 87 | Location: Victoria Australia | Registered: 07 September 2002
