I'm not pissing on anyone but I did want to say congratulation to all the Olympic competitors.

You Kiwi's have to be proud of 6 gold medals (2 silvers and 5 bronzes) coming from a country of just over 4 Million people.

Kiwis and especially the Poms did well. Australia's efforts were pathetic. A little bit less "hero" status I think and more training. A definitely more of a killer instinct needed.

When I lived in Pommyland competitive sports were not encouraged. You know competition might mean the lesser individuals feel bad, so lets not upset them. Everyone should come first sort of thing.

Interesting supposedly this is how Aussie schools now operate, no compulsory sports or phys ed, no competition. The good old socialist mentality is rampant from our gov't to the teachers, many of who definitely don't want to be judged competitively!

Re-introduce compulsory phys ed and competitive sports into school as well as proper English, Maths and Sciences. And next to no "feel good" subjects.
