Yesterday when sorting out some fencing at the back of the farm I noticed some rooting.

Both myself and the other house wouldn't mind some nice eating pork so I snuck up there just before dark tonight.
Eight were out and I closed in to about 70 yards, took a prone position and headshot the fattest boar, then reloaded and swung through and shot the best sow as she ran past.
Pretty happy with this rifle! It can be happily in Tahr country one day, and shooting close running game the next.

The old farm I got sick of shooting pigs. Would have to shoot up around 120 a year just to keep on top of them. Here they only show up in small numbers every few months and dont do much damage. I like it much better this way and there are just enough to keep us with pork.
