Safari James;

Glad to hear your trip was a success. Will we be seeing a write-up soon? I'm particularly interested in calibers, bullets and observed results.

I leave today for the NT for my own hunts. If there's something that can soak up lead better than an Asiatic buffalo I'm sure I don't know what it is.

All:

There is a thread on this hunt under the "Double Rifles" section. I think the title is "Heym/Buffalo Down Under" and is posted by New_Guy. I have contributed a few pictures myself. Once I have my digital artifacts --pictures, video-- sorted out I will post under the "Hunt Reports" section for Australi.

The Water Buffalo can soak up lead big time. Dropping one in its tracks requires disruption on the CNS. Otherwise, prepare to keep shooting.

I'd say this hunt is the best value on the planet for the money, experience, adventure, and overall excitement. Really a special hunt with Graeham Williams, Australia Buffalo Hunters, in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.
