Any suggestions for reasonably priced long range bases for a Rem 700 and a Savage 110. Thanks, Peter.

One of the easiest and less expensive ways is to go with weaver bases and Burris signature zee rings. You can put a shim under the rear base and the inserts will align your scope or you can get up to .040 by changing the inserts.

Thank you gentlemen. I have seen the Farrell bases in Brownells. I think I will get a couple. Peter.

sdeshazo. I just found out about Bradford Farms a couple of months ago. My need for the long range bases is because I planned on shooting there! I spoke to them and they seemd nice enough. I just wasn't sure about how "crowded" it was and how the 600 yard range was handled eg. do you need a pit crew etc. Please PM me with your phone number, I am hoping you can educate me a bit. I have Rem 700 HB in 308 and Savage 110 in 223, both of which I was hoping to use out there. It seems that Blanding is out for us now. Thanks, peter.

You don't mention a budget. And all of the other metioned are good setups. I opted for the Leupold long range base. It is the same as their standard 1 piece bases with 1/4° built into it. And it only costs about $1 more than the standard base.
