Hi, I have a .300 wsm 11 twist broughton 5c finshed at 30 1/2" I am wondering what combinations I should try, I have planned to use 210 bergers but not sure what powder and primers are working? what velocity can I expect from this bullet? any success with case? thanks, Ron

It is a fantastic round, and I think better than a 300 Win Mag. 210 Bergers are great if you can get em. Any powder from 4350, 4831 type or maybe slower will do fine. I never had as much luck with real slow powder as I did with 4350 or 4831.

You should take a look at starting with 60 grains H4831SC or 59 grains of H4350 using a Berger 210 VLD. Best accuracy will be near 2900 to 2950 feet per second. You can get that with your barrel. start a couple of grains lower and work up.

I use 64 grains of H4831SC and 190 grain Sierra MatchKings in my 300WSM. It has about 27" inches of rifling in its Krieger barrel. I use CCI Magnum primers in garden variety Winchester brass. I seat the bullets .020" off the lands. I'll move up to premium brass when I get more practiced in this game. For the 175 grain M'King bullets I use 65 grains of H4350.
