I've been shooting my Varmint Hunter rifle "free recoil" for about 10 years. I've used both 6mmPPC and 30BR.

Like Eddie I shoot V.H. and H.B.R. free recoil. I shoot a 30X47 regularly and have shot a full .308 with no problems at all.

Do either of you compete in registered matches? My email address is in my profile and should work fine.
